Be an opening staff member at the brand-new Pokémon theme park opening in Spring 2026! Use your English or Chinese skills to guide guests from around the world in an immersive Pokémon experience.

This is a dream job for any Pokémon fan who is fluent in English or Chinese. Join us from the very beginning as we prepare to open "PokéPark KANTO" inside Yomiuriland. No prior work experience is necessary!

Language Requirements (IMPORTANT) for non native speakers

This position is specifically for multilingual speakers. You MUST have official certification for your language ability.

English Proficiency (one of the following):

TOEFL iBT: 85 or higher

IELTS: 6.0 or higher

Eiken: Grade Pre-1 or higher

Cambridge English: C1 or C2

Chinese (Mandarin) Proficiency (one of the following):

HSK: Level 5 or higher

Chūken (TECC): Grade Pre-1 or higher

Job Details

Position: Area Guide (Multilingual Staff)

Main Duties: This is an outdoor position.

• Answer questions from international guests in English or Chinese within "Kayatsuri Town."
• Help run events and shows by guiding and assisting visitors.

Pay: ¥1,350 per hour (This includes a ¥150 language bonus. Base pay is ¥1,170 + allowances).

Location: PokéPark KANTO (inside Yomiuriland), Inagi, Tokyo.

Transportation:

• Travel costs are fully paid (some limits may apply for long distances).
• Free employee shuttle bus from Keio-Yomiuriland Station (runs every 10 minutes).
• You can also use the gondola.
